Candace Parr has over 30 years experience in residential and
business interior design. She and her daughter, Melissa Lucier,
opened Decor and More in 1986, when Melissa completed her
studies in interior design. Since then, they have specialized in
residential design, serving Westwood and surrounding towns but
they also have worked on projects from Boston's Waterfront to New
Hampshire, and the shores of Newport Rhode Island.
Candace and Melissa believe the client's personality and style
should guide the design process. They welcome spending time with
clients in their home and at the Decor & More showroom reviewing
colors, fabrics, furniture styles and accessory choices to create the
home environment that each client will find warm and welcoming.
In addition, Candace and Melissa have created rooms for numerous Decorator's Show Houses sponsored by the Junior League of Boston. Their designs have included the "Back to the Nest" bathroom at the Davisson House in Westwood, "Twins' Nursery" at the Dutton Estate in Walpole, and "Young Girl's Bath" at the Lawrence Estate, and "Joshua's Bedroom" in the Commandant's House, Charleston Navy Yard.
